What Repotted shipped with the chaotic soccer pitch — and what they did not.
This page freezes the public kit as of the late-August 2026 push. Illegal Soccer was created on Roblox on 12 May 2026 and was already playable before the trailer-style X post (“I made a soccer game where you can shoot the other team… There are no referees.”). Treat this as the baseline the patch tracker will diff against.
Positioning
Repotted called it “chaotic weaponized soccer” on repotted.com. The Roblox description is the design doc:
- World’s most popular sport, with guns, grappling hooks, jetpacks, and more.
- Pros: kick, tackle, beat up, blow up opponents; no referees.
- Cons: oil spills; get shot while dribbling.
That is not marketing fluff. It is the verb list the guides hub is built on.
Match format at launch
- Platform: Roblox (PC, mobile, console via the Roblox client).
- Price: free.
- Server size: 8.
- Genre tags: Sports.
- Score plus timer HUD.
- Team identity via floor rings.
- Two gadget hotbar slots with resource pips.
- Customization board: Jerseys, Balls, Emotes, Goal Effects.
No badges and no game passes were listed on the universe when we checked. If a pass appears, it will go on the tracker, not here as a prediction.
Maps in the launch footage
Two pitches showed up in official video:
- Desert canyon stadium — dirt, painted lines, huge hanging lights, magenta honeycomb goal, scoreboard 0–2 with minutes on the clock.
- Coastal field — turf, cliffs, water, boat, red net, jetpack fights in the box.
We do not invent a third map until it ships.
Cosmetics at launch
Jersey tiles we could read: Default, Blue Tiger, Checkerboard, Perforated, Pink Prism, Pinstripe, Red Collar, Referee, Tracksuit, Violet Star. Full notes on locker. None of them are ranked on the tier list.
What launch did not include
- A public Trello.
- A confirmed promo code (see codes).
- A named gun encyclopedia.
- A printed keybind PDF.
- A YouTube trailer with a stable ID we could embed without guessing. The studio posted video on X instead.
Those absences are why some wiki pages look strict. We would rather freeze an honest baseline than fill it with other games’ soccer controls.
How to use this page later
When a patch says “jetpack drain changed,” you look here to remember jets were always pip-taxed. When a code finally drops, you do not rewrite history into “codes were always live.” Launch is the snapshot. The updates hub is the newspaper.
Why launch notes stay frozen
If we keep rewriting this page, you will never know what “new” means. Future oil nerfs, extra maps, or a third slot belong on the patch tracker. This file should still read like August 2026 when you open it in December. That is the point of a baseline.
Go play the baseline. It is already the full sport: eight players, two slots, neon goals, no whistle. Everything after this page is a diff, not a reboot.
